The V-Strom 250 SX gets the same 249 cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, SOHC engine from the Gixxer 250, mated to a 6-speed gearbox and pumping out 26.5PS and 22.2Nm. At 835 mm, its seat height is a considerable 35 mm more than the Gixxer’s. Even though the V-Strom 250 SX gets a solid 205mm of ground clearance, a major miss is the tiny 120 mm of suspension travel at the front.
